Associate

Aldo Ormeño, an attorney in the Real Estate and Municipal Law practice area (Urban Planning Law, Permitting, and Land Use Management), specializing in land title clearance, title analysis, and technical and legal assessments of properties. He provides strategic advice to companies in the infrastructure, energy, mining, and telecommunications sectors on obtaining the permits, licenses, and authorizations necessary for the development of high-impact projects. His experience includes managing complex property title clearance procedures, negotiating surface rights, and handling the process of obtaining municipal permits, licenses, and authorizations.

He has held leadership positions on various projects, notably serving as legal lead for the Galeno Project (Lumina Copper), where he spearheaded the regularization and acquisition of more than 1,800 hectares, as well as providing specialized advisory services to companies such as Entel, Hudbay, Abengoa, and Solarpack. He has also participated in significant assignments for the Peruvian government, including the preparation of the technical-legal report submitted in the ICSID international arbitration of the Gremcitrel case, which was resolved in favor of the government in 2015.

He actively participates in high-level processes related to land use regulation, infrastructure, and land use, contributing specialized legal analysis to assess the feasibility of investments.
