Diego is a Senior Associate in the Infrastructure Practice Group. He specializes in infrastructure, construction law, civil law, arbitration, and government contracting. He co-leads the practice, advising domestic and international contractors, subcontractors, and supervisory firms on construction projects under the Government Procurement Law, Tax-for-Work programs, public-private partnerships, and projects under the government-to-government contract framework.
He is an expert in projects under the General Public Procurement Law and its predecessor regulations, as well as projects under the government-to-government contract framework. He is also an expert in standardized FIDIC and NEC contracts, as well as in the prevention and resolution of disputes through Dispute Boards, Dispute Prevention and Resolution Committees, and Construction Arbitration.

He has held positions as a senior attorney at consulting firms specializing in construction law, which provide advisory services on construction projects to Project Management Offices (PMOs), as well as to contractors, subcontractors, and supervising firms.
He has completed courses, programs, certificate programs, and other specializations in projects under Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Tax-for-Works arrangements, and the General Law on Public Procurement, as well as specializations in International Commercial Arbitration and Investment Arbitration, Standardized Contracts, and Dispute Boards.

He is a member of the Lima Bar Association and a member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF).
