Associate

Diana Pomahuallca is a senior associate in the International Trade, Logistics, and Customs practice. She has a proven track record in the implementation and maintenance of international cargo security certifications (AEO, BASC, and CTPAT), customs planning, and trade compliance. Negotiation and drafting of international trade and logistics contracts; advising on customs audits, with a special focus on customs valuation, tariff classification, and special customs regimes (Duty-Free Reimportation of Goods and Drawback); application of free trade agreements (FTAs); representation in customs investigations and criminal proceedings, as well as in contentious and non-contentious proceedings before the Customs Administration, the Tax Court, and the Judiciary.

She has been recognized by leading international ranking publications in the field of International Trade/WTO: “Chambers & Partners,” “The Legal 500,” “Top Ranked,” and “Be Lawyer.” She actively participates in the Trade Facilitation Committee of AmCham Peru and the Peruvian Association of Customs Law and International Trade (APDACI). She is the author of various specialized articles, a co-author of books on the subject, and a speaker at academic and business forums. She has also taught courses on international trade and customs at the undergraduate and graduate levels at UNMSM, PUCP, UPC, USMP, and ESAN.
